About Nivelle

Who does Nivelle work with?

Nivelle is a New York-based wholesale and private label supplier of lab-grown and natural diamond fine jewelry. We work with jewelry retailers, jewelry brands selling online or wholesale, corporate gifting buyers and international brands. Nivelle sells to trade accounts only, and wholesale pricing is available only to approved accounts. Apply for trade pricing.

Who is behind Nivelle?

Nivelle is a New York fine jewelry wholesale firm founded and run by Vinay Krishnani, a third-generation jeweler. His grandfather started the family jewelry business and his father carried it on. Where is Nivelle jewelry made?

Nivelle's New York office manages a global manufacturing network built over three generations, and every program runs through that office from first sample to every reorder. Many of our natural diamond pieces are made in New York City.

Ordering, minimums and lead times

Is there a minimum order?

Nivelle's in-stock styles have no minimum order. Private label and made-to-order programs have minimums that our New York team confirms on your quote.

How long does production take?

Many Nivelle styles ship from stock, and dispatch times for in-stock and made-to-order pieces are listed in our shipping policy. Private label and made-to-order lead times are confirmed on your quote, because they depend on the styles, quantities and metal you choose.

How do we open a trade account with Nivelle?

Apply for trade pricing with your business details, website or social account, and what you are looking for. A member of our New York team reviews each application and is in touch within one business day. We ask for your resale certificate before your first order, and a Jewelers Board of Trade number and trade references help us approve accounts faster.

Private label and custom design

How does Nivelle's private label program work?

Nivelle produces fine jewelry for retailers to your specification and finishes it with your branding. We start by reviewing your assortment, price points and customers, then you select styles from our catalog or brief us on a design. Setting, diamond weight, length, metal and branding are confirmed before production begins, and you can reorder proven pieces from stock or made to order. See our private label program.

Can Nivelle create a custom design for us?

Yes. You can bring your own design to Nivelle, brief us on a new one, or curate a collection from our exclusive designer collections and wider catalog. Many natural styles are also available in lab-grown diamonds, and lab-grown designs can be made with natural diamonds on request.

Can Nivelle work from our own CAD files?

Yes, under a private label agreement. How your CAD files are used, and who owns the resulting designs, is set in your private label contract, and we can adjust those terms to fit your program.

What specifications can we choose?

With Nivelle you choose setting style, total carat weight, length and metal for each order. Our tennis bracelets run from 2ct to 26ct in 6.5" and 7" lengths, in 3-prong, 4-prong, bezel, cupcake, bead-set with milgrain and shared-prong settings. Fancy shapes in pear, marquise, oval and emerald cuts are available in stock or made to order.

Can you put our logo on the jewelry?

Yes. Nivelle private label programs can carry your logo and hallmark, so the finished piece carries your brand and every reorder matches what you have already sold.

Does Nivelle sign an NDA?

Yes. Every Nivelle private label program is covered by a non-disclosure agreement, so your designs, pricing and client relationship stay confidential.

How does sampling work?

Nivelle quotes sampling terms per program, and production starts only after you approve the sample. That approved sample becomes the standard every future order is checked against. See how we work.

Quality and consistency

How does Nivelle check quality?

Every Nivelle piece is inspected by our experienced New York team, followed by IGI or GSI screening, and checked against your approved sample. A piece that does not match the approved standard does not ship.

Will reorders match what we already sold?

Yes. Every Nivelle reorder is made to the same specification as your approved pieces, so your case looks consistent season after season.

Diamonds and metals

Does Nivelle offer lab-grown and natural diamonds?

Yes. Nivelle's focus is lab-grown diamond jewelry in 14K gold, and our natural diamond range remains available, priced on a separate schedule. See our lab-grown and natural ranges.

What metals does Nivelle work in?

Nivelle works in 14K and 18K gold and platinum. Our current catalog is produced in 14K white, yellow and rose gold, and 18K gold and platinum are available on request.

Are Nivelle's diamonds certified or graded?

Every Nivelle piece goes through IGI or GSI screening after inspection by our New York team, and is checked against your approved sample before it ships. Ask our team whether a grading report is available for a specific style.

Are pieces stamped with their karat?

Yes. Each piece carries a quality mark that matches its actual metal, such as 14K or 18K, and platinum marks are used only where the alloy qualifies. Private label clients can adjust the stamp layout and add their logo, but required marks stay on every piece, including the responsible-party trademark that accompanies a gold quality mark.

Pricing and terms

How does Nivelle's wholesale pricing work?

Nivelle's wholesale pricing is available to approved trade accounts. Lab-grown pieces are priced on their own schedule, separate from our natural range, and many natural pieces are priced on request. Private label terms are confirmed on your quote.

What payment terms does Nivelle offer?

New accounts pay in advance. Established trade accounts can qualify for Net-30 terms.

Shipping and returns

How does Nivelle ship orders, and are they insured?

Every Nivelle shipment is fully insured for its value and requires a signature on delivery. Many pieces ship from stock, and full shipping details, including international orders, are in our shipping policy.

Can trade orders be returned?

Custom orders are non-returnable. Return terms for other trade orders, including private label orders that are not custom-made, are confirmed with your account team before ordering. If an order arrives damaged or not as ordered, contact your Nivelle account team and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
